Eklavya University, Damoh has been recognized as the District Green Champion for Damoh District, Madhya Pradesh, for the Academic Year 2021-22. The award is given based on assessment criteria like Sustainability on campus, Rural Community Engagement, Rural Internships, and Shaping Social Entrepreneurship in Higher Educational Institutions.
The assessment was done by the Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education (MGNCRE), Ministry of Education, Government of India.

Dr. Prafull Sharma, Registrar of Eklavya University Damoh received the award from Dr. Mohan Yadav, Minister of Higher Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh, in the presence of Prof. Akhilesh Kumar Pandey, Vice-Chancellor, Vikram University, Ujjain, and Dr. W. G. Prasanna Kumar, Chairman, MGNCRE.
