Eklavya University, Damoh’s Nursing and Paramedical Department organized a grand event on the occasion of National Newborn Baby Week, including lectures and awareness programs. Inauguration of the program Dr. Vice-Chancellor of Eklavya University Mr. Sudha Malaiya, Deputy Chancellor Mrs. Pooja Malaiya, Executive Director Mrs. Rati Malaiya, Professor Dr. Pawan Kumar ji, and Deputy Secretary Dr. Happened under the skilled guidance of Prafulla Sharma.
Dr of Government District Hospital Damoh Jalaj Bajaj Ji, Supervision of academic Dr. Archana Pathak ji student welfare president Dr. Shailendra Jain and Dr. Hridoy Narayan Tiwari ji started the program by lighting the lamp with the worship of Maa Saraswati.
Nursing Superintendent Dr. on the occasion Basanta Priya ji, Assistant Principal Mrs. Geeta Kumari ji, Division President Dr. All professors including Dinesh Kushwaha ji and Mr. Sandeep Kushwaha ji were present. Students attempted to spread awareness on the care of newborn babies and their rights through rangoli, speech, and poster displays.
Dr. Jalaj Bajaj ji highlights the importance of caring for newborn baby as Chief Guest and role of mother’s milk in protecting her life. He said the newborn baby should only be given mother’s milk for the first six months after birth.
General Secretary Dr. Prafulla Sharma ji emphasized the importance of blood donation and said that blood donation can save someone’s life. The supremacy Dr. Basanta Priya ji also emphasized the benefits of blood donation and the need to break the myths associated with it.
Department President Dr. at the end of the program Dinesh Kushwaha ji expressed his gratitude to all the guests, professors, and students. Head of department, professors, researchers, and students of various faculty of the university were present in large numbers.
The program delivered a message of responsibility towards newborn baby care and health.
