Student Mental Health & Helpline Awareness Program

As per the instructions of the Higher Education Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, an awareness initiative has been undertaken to inform students about national mental health support services.

Initiative Background

On 12 January 2025, at Ravindra Bhavan, Bhopal, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh launched the UMANG – Higher Education Wellness Program. Under the National Health Mission (NHM), special focus has been given to addressing students’ mental and emotional well-being.
