At Eklavya, we encourage and facilitate student and industry interaction. The institute has a Career Development Cell (CDC) which is actively involved with the students, faculty and the industry for arranging relevant trainings, to prepare students for their professional life and enable them to make informed career choices. The CDC is also responsible for placements and internships and runs numerous programmes to aid training and placement initiatives. Infinity takes great pride in its active working relationship with over 30 national level companies, and 50 state level companies. The Institute has entered into MOU’s with multiple companies of great repute, to conduct trainings, company visits, provide internships and jobs.
The purpose of STEP is to update and train students with latest technical developments in the Industry through Workshops, Seminars, Industrial Visits, and certifications, thus bridging the gap between Industry and Academia.
The CSSPD is responsible for developing soft skills of students’ like competency in English Communication – Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing, Leadership Ability, team Work, Time Management, etc. and groom them according to the needs of the corporate World. CSSPD conducts training programmes like – ‘Campus to corporate’, ‘Resume Building’, ‘Elevator Pitch’ which helps students to improve their employability skills and make them Industry Ready.
Students are mandatorily required to undertake internships at various times during the academic programs. The University provides links and opportunities at numerous companies of great repute. These internships give students an opportunity to have real world professional experiences.
E-cell provides a platform for students to convert their ideas into business plans that can be implemented. Various other activities include e-talks by eminent speakers and exposure to seminars and conferences that enhance overall development of students and help them become hardcore entrepreneurs.
This is yet another special initiative at Eklavya. Students have access to a Career Guidance Counsellor, who is available to guide and groom students as they enter the professional world. The counsellor also gives students information related to companies, open campus opportunities (at locations outside Sagar), competitive exams, certifications, feedback on interviews, guidance is developing resumes, etc.
