The Department of Physical Education at Eklavya University aims at promoting the importance of physical education as a cornerstone of all educational programs, and grooming and nurturing sports talent in individuals from a young age. The Physical Education Program strives to research and explore new possibilities in the field of physical education and sports.

The University has superior infrastructure and facilities for coaching and preparing sports people. It has well equipped play grounds for Hockey, Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Kho Kho, Kabaddi, Handball, Basketball, horse riding arena, etc. It also has facilities for indoor sports like Badminton and Table Tennis. The University has an Olympic size pool as well as a junior splash pool. Additionally, there is also a Gymnasium on campus equipped with modern machines.

The Department of Physical Education offers Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor, Master and Doctoral programs, and is regulated by the guidelines of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi.
